To race through life with speed as though
we're minute tiny specks of snow
to settle on the frozen ground
and melt away without a sound
To feel the joy of flying free
the winds of fate blow you to me
for seconds rare in our embrace
to see the love upon your face
For just a fleeting moment in time
I had the chance where you were mine
my soul was captured my life had meaning
the day our love came into being
So now I find at winters end
the sorrow in our fast decent
the joy we knew when we were free
to live a moment as you and me
Then what are we but nothing more
than tiny specks of snow upon the floor
in life we found a chance so rare
the chance to find how much we care
